Day 59. Lake Elphinstone. 31.8.23

Had a play on the exercise equipment for about 15 mins while on my walk this morning.

Newlands mine area.
Stopped in the park in Glenden for morning tea.

Today we're heading south for about 150kms to free camp beside a lake.
Not expecting any phone service.
The view from our door.
Lots of pelicans.

Spuds with a view for dinner.

The moon rising over the lake was very spectacular but I couldn't capture it with my mobile phone.

I lay in bed watching the cows outside my window and there's a beautiful moon lighting up the lake as I'm falling asleep.
Goodnight.

Day 58. Collinsville 30.8.23

Mark and I went on 2 x 3km walks during the morning.

Church and fire station.

Paul Hamilton.
Peter Delmonthe
Annie MacDonald.

Cheers from Collinsville.
After lunch we did the 'Coal face experience', which we discovered was basically a self guide museum tour.

Clouds came over in the afternoon and the temperature dropped a few degrees making it very pleasant to sit outside.

Todays temperature was 13-26.7°
