Day 22. Darwin. 25.7.23

 Rather cool overnight,  13°

This morning we did a triathlon of sorts ride(15km) walk(5km) ride(13km). We rode in to the wharf area and wandered around before riding back.

It was very windy today.

Wind was messing with my hair.

The guys were doing some grinding and something caught fire.

By the time we got back all the washing was well and truly dried in the wind. Had lunch and a little down time before driving to East arm to have a look around.
Art work at Northern cement.

An old wreck at the Darwin Port.

New tanks going in.
Next we had a quick look at the railway station.

The last thing to see at East Arm was the WWII Quarantine anti-aircraft battery.

Then we took a drive around to East Point and enjoyed the views at Dudley Point.

Walked across to the military museum but it was closed. We had a bit of a wander around looking at other things.

An interesting tank beside the Hwy.
Live music was being played at the van park so we sat and had dinner while we listened.

Found this ⬆️ on the net about the unusual weather at the moment.

Today's temperature only got to 25.5° with winds up to 32km/hr. As we go to bed at 10.30 the temp has dropped to 15.4 already.
