Day 7. Barkly Homestead, N.T

A much warmer 11° this morning. 

First stop today is Camooweal before we cross the border into the Northern Territory. 

Coming into Camooweal. 

Can't remember seeing a sign like this before 🤜 

Morning tea stop in Camooweal. 

Tin horse. 

Vast grass plains.

Lots of trees in flower after a good wet season.

Lots of birds at our site.

Barkly Homestead,  $30 unpowered. 

Pre dinner drinks at the roadhouse. 

My huge dinner.  I bought some home for tomorrow. 

The roadhouse has been affected by flood and fire recently and had lots of renovations completed. It has been restored to a high standard and looks more like a resort. The bathrooms were impressive with brick wall tiles, waterfall sinks and wood look tiles on the floor.

Today we drove 396kms, taking the total to 2,186kms.
