Day 47 Forsayth 19.8.23

The temperature dropped to 12.8° overnight and the wind picked up a bit speed. It was very pleasant.

Went for a walk around town as we haven't been here before. It was quite interesting.

Bird photos compliments of Gunther.

Old lock up.

Savannahlander tracks.

Forsayth train station.
Lots of old equipment in a park.

Some of the very good wood carvings.

The only mural I saw in town.
We made our lunch and took it to Charleston Dam for a picnic.  It was very windy and quiet.

A good spot for a snooze, apparently.
Blogger decided to upload the next 4 photos out of order 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Mark couldn't decide whether to have a swim or not. In the end he couldn't resist. I elected to just watch.

Welcome to Forsayth sign I missed yesterday.
Beautiful shower curtain in the ammenities.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Goldfields Hotel.
Todays temperature got to 31°
