The temperature dropped to a very pleasant 13° overnight. I wandered down to the bridge to take a couple of pics
As we departed we came across a few vehicles on the road. This road was terrible but some still don't slow down.
Stopped in Greenvale to make our morning tea and a beautiful Maggie came to sing to us. Greenvale was built in the 1970s when the Nickel Mine started operations.
We are booked in to a caravan park in Charters Towers for 2 nights.
We went up to Towers Hill to watch the sunset.Today we travelled 292kms and the temperature got up to 28°.
We still have about 1,500kms to go even though the shortest route home is 1,100kms.
