Day 55. Burdekin Falls Dam. 27.8.23

This place is amazing.  Would definitely recommend it.

Lots of feathered friends joined me for a walk this morning.

Mark and I walked down to the dam wall to explore. Gunther drove down as he was going to take the drone down.

We clambered around on the rocks for quite a while.
The road we walked down in the background.

A few pics from Gunther below.
Mark and I on the road down.

Sprung! Gunthers new camera caught me getting something out of his car from quite a distance away.
We look like little ants compared to the size of the dam wall. Apparently this is the largest dam in Qld.
We opted for a lift home.
In the afternoon we went for a drive to the boat ramp.

I opted for a seat in the shade after we spotted a croc. Gunther saw 1 while paddling too.
He survived the croc sighting!
So many friendly peacocks.

A couple of photos from Gunther from when we were in Ravenswood.

The spider was real 🕸

Today's temperature got to 29°
