Day 57. Collinsville 29.8.23

A few pics from my morning walk. 

Heading back inland to visit a couple of towns we haven't been to before and travel on some more new roads.

It was quite a scenic drive. We saw fields of tomatoes and corn growing and a couple of small mango orchards.  As always it's lovely to see the mountains.

Coming into Collinsville,  the pit pony capital apparently. 

We were all set up at the showgrounds and walking into town by 10.30am to see if the bakery was as good as advertised. ✅ 

We decided to spend the middle of the day doing not much as it's 28° at midday.

Our very grubby ute and van. Almost everywhere we have been the last few weeks has signs up saying not to wash your rig as they are on water restrictions. 

After dinner we watched a couple of sci fi movies. 

Today we travelled 123kms.
