Day 11. Katherine. 14.7.23

We decided to have a rest day and stay in Katherine again today. We'll be stopping here again on our way back south.

We went for a short ride this morning,  looking around town. While the town is quite pretty in spots and the murals are well done some streets are littered with rubbish, the bike track had broken glass, people were just hanging around yelling and swearing  and it was sad to see businesses had bars and security screens in the doors and windows.

Went back to van to swap the bike for the car as we need fuel for the car and to stick up in groceries as this is the last big town before we get to Darwin in 10 days.

After all that shopping we just had to go for another swim. The temperature was 31° so the water was much appreciated. 

Gotta learn to take better selfies.

A generous sized site. A light dinner and sat outside chatting and watching the stars.
