Day 13. Couzens Lookout, Mary River National Park

 Went for a walk around the Katherine cemetery this morning and along the river.

Gunther pushed on to meet my brother in law at the Mary River National Park. I turned our van around under his watchful eye. 

Mark had another scan at 10.30 and while we wait for the results the nurse changed all his dressings. The staff at the hospital have been wonderful. The nurse gave us a few dressings for the road.

We've been given the all clear so we're heading for Kakadu.  Not sure how far we'll get today 🤷‍♀️

We have seen some huge termite mounds and a variety of birds already.

Looks like we will get to our destination as Marks feeling pretty good 😁

After dinner Dean lit a fire and we all sat around chatting, listening to animal noises and slapping bugs.
