Day 31. Litchfield N.P 3.8.23

Today is our last day in Litchfield. This morning I swapped the swimmers for runners and went for a short walk before breakfast. 

We headed out to find the lost city. It was 11kms off the bitumen and the road in was worse than the 4WD track.

We had a quick look at Tolmer Falls. 

We didn't see any of these guys but there was a few bits of evidence.

Finally we saw the Falls. No swimming at this one.

Home for a swim, lunch and down time in the aircon. That meant blogging for me.

This afternoon we are going to check out an old uranium mine which is now a lake.

Spot the 🐊 We believe there was at least 3 and the ranger said the other for every croc you see there's another 5 you can't see.

He disappeared for a bit but came back up. Very hard to get a photo. 

Today we travelled 121kms.

The temperature got to 34° again today.
